Eleven killed in Israeli strike on refugee camp

Eleven people, including children, have been killed in an Israeli strike on the Maghazi refugee camp as Israel continues its bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

Gaza’s Civil Defence said an Israeli jet attacked a house in the Yabna refugee camp in Rafah, killing and wounding several people.

The United Nations, United States and Palestinian rights groups join growing condemnation of Israeli settler attacks on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.

Israel urges 32 countries to impose sanctions against Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps after its attack on Israel, while pro-Palestinian protests around the world blockade companies supporting Israel’s assault on Gaza.

At least 33,843 Palestinians have been killed and 76,575 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. The death toll in Israel from Hamas’s October 7 attacks stands at 1,139 and dozens of people are still being held captive in Gaza.
