KUMASI, GhanaKumasi Asante Kotoko suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to fierce rivals Accra Hearts of Oak in a tense Matchday 22 encounter of the Ghana Premier League at the Baba Yara Stadium, as the visitors held firm despite playing most of the match with 10 men.

Defender Baba Adamu scored the decisive goal early in the contest, heading home in the 14th minute to give Hearts of Oak a valuable lead. The goal ultimately proved enough to separate the two sides and brought an end to Kotoko’s impressive home form this season.
