The US military’s Central Command says it destroyed four drones and one surface-to-air missile in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.
“It was determined these weapons presented an imminent threat to merchant vessels and US Navy ships in the region,” CENTCOM said in a post on X.
It reported one anti-ship ballistic missile launch from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Gulf of Aden on Wednesday. The missile did not impact any vessels.
