Shatta Wale Wins Double at International Reggae and World Music Awards in Florida
Dancehall star earns recognition for Best African Dancehall Entertainer and Concert of the Year at 43rd IRAWMA Awards

Shatta Wale has added another major international achievement to his career after emerging as a double award winner at the 43rd International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) held in Florida, United States.
In an official statement released by his management on May 18, 2026, the Ghanaian dancehall musician was confirmed as a winner in two major categories during the internationally recognized awards event held over the weekend.

According to the statement, Shatta Wale secured:
- Best African Dancehall Entertainer
- Concert of the Year for ShattaFest
Management described the achievement as another strong confirmation of the musician’s growing global influence and his contribution to African dancehall music on the international stage.
The statement praised organizers of the International Reggae and World Music Awards for recognising African music and continuously supporting global reggae and dancehall culture.
Management also extended appreciation to supporters around the world, particularly members of the Shatta Movement fan base, for what it described as years of loyalty, votes, and unwavering support.
