Severe Flooding Cuts Off Winneba–Cape Coast Highway, Leaving Hundreds Stranded

Severe flooding has rendered a major section of the Winneba–Cape Coast Highway impassable, stranding hundreds of commuters and motorists as persistent rainfall submerged critical portions of one of Ghana’s busiest transportation corridors.
Rising floodwaters brought traffic to a complete standstill on the affected stretch, forcing vehicles to halt and leaving travellers stranded on both sides of the flooded roadway.
