The Ghana Grid Company (GRIDCo) has restored electricity supply to several communities affected by the recent power disruption, as technical teams continue working to reconnect all remaining areas experiencing outages.

The Ministry of Energy and Green Transition has confirmed that significant progress has been made in the restoration exercise, with engineers deployed across affected locations to stabilise the power network and safely return customers to normal supply.

The Ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Richmond Rockson, said GRIDCo’s technical personnel remain actively engaged in resolving the challenges and ensuring that electricity is restored to every affected community.

According to Mr Rockson, the restoration process is being carried out carefully to protect both the reliability of the national grid and the safety of workers involved in the operation.

He acknowledged the inconvenience caused to households, businesses and institutions affected by the outage, while expressing appreciation to the public for their patience and cooperation during the recovery process.

The Ministry assured consumers that restoring full electricity supply remains a priority and that GRIDCo will continue working until all affected areas are reconnected.
