Ghanian Canadian Achievement Awards

The Ghanaian Canadian Achievement Awards (GCAA) was started by The Ghanaian News in 2000. It was designed to honour Ghanaian Canadians who achieved excellence in various fields.

 

For one night, the aim is to celebrate the achievements and recognizes exceptional contributions to our community.

 

Categories 

Community Service

People who have achieved excellence volunteer their time to projects or causes that contribute to a better quality of life within our community.

 

Professional Excellence

People who have excelled professionally and ethically and whose achievements inspire our community.

 

Academic Excellence

People who have excelled academically and whose achievements inspire our overall community. From high school, university, or college.

 

Cultural Promotion

People who have achieved excellence in promoting Ghanaian culture within Canada.

 

Entertainment

People who have achieved excellence in music, arts, or entertainment.

 

Sports

People who have achieved excellence in athletics.

 

Community Business

People who have whose efforts in business inspire and motivate our overall community.
