Ghana Publishing Company Posts GH¢16.9m Profit After 600% Surge In Earnings

financial statements for the 2025 financial year, showing a major improvement in profitability and liquidity.
The company recorded a profit after tax of GH¢16.9 million in 2025, up significantly from the GH¢2.2 million recorded in 2024. Before 2025, the highest recent profit was GH¢2.7 million in 2023.
The 2025 performance represents an increase of more than 600% over the previous year.
Core revenue increased from about GH¢60 million in 2024 to GH¢72 million in 2025. At the same time, total expenditure declined from GH¢57 million to GH¢53 million.
Administrative expenses dropped from GH¢11 million to GH¢7.1 million, driven by reduced spending on seminars, meetings, travel, board expenses and staff motivation costs.
Staff allowances also declined by nearly 50%, though no detailed explanation was provided.
The company’s cash flow position improved significantly, moving from a negative GH¢108,000 in 2024 to a positive GH¢18.7 million in 2025, including GH¢16 million in cash at bank.
