Concerned Teachers threatens strike over unpaid cost of living allowance

The Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) is calling on Government to honour their demands for Cost of living allowance for Public Sector workers.

The situation, according to a statement from the Union, was negatively affecting the living conditions of members of the Coalition of Concerned Teachers thus the release gives a warning sign to the government to indicate the seriousness they attached to their condition of Service.

Members of the Union have also expressed their disappointment over the Government’s inability to respond to their condition of Service since November 2021.

They said the government should find pragmatic measures to engage the Association to calm tempers down and heed to their grievances else they would lay their tools down by June 30, 22.

Mr. Amos Amoako, the Central Regional Secretary of the Union said the predicament was derailing the trust that very members of CCT- GH had in government.
